This space was created for those who are seeking something deeper. A gentle pause from the noise of everyday life, a place to exhale, or a moment of reconnection with themselves.
I’m Emma, a yoga and meditation teacher, Reiki Master, somatic healing practitioner, and women’s circle facilitator. Through somatic awareness, trauma informed practices, and the quiet magic of presence, I support people in remembering their own inner steadiness.
Whether you’ve arrived out of curiosity, intention, or intuition, I’m honoured to meet you here.
I founded Samadhi Holistic Wellness because I am passionate about helping others reclaim their intrinsic inner peace and wellbeing. When we learn how to access this, no matter what life throws our way, we can transform our quality of life, and return home to our essential nature.
My Journey
My path into this work began with my own healing. I navigated significant trauma earlier in my life, and for a long time I felt disconnected from myself and unsure how to move forward. Yoga became a turning point. A practice that helped me rebuild from the inside out. It supported me in reconnecting with myself, finding steadiness again, and creating a life that feels meaningful and aligned.
The transformation I experienced through Yoga is what inspired me to share this work with others. Over time, my journey expanded to include Reiki, iRest meditation, somatic dance, and women’s circles, with each modality offering another gentle path back to wholeness.
Doing this work brings so much joy to my soul. I’m passionate about supporting others as they reclaim their inner peace and return home to their essential nature.
About Samadhi Holistic Wellness
Samadhi is the eighth and final limb of yoga, as described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. It is the union of individual and universal consciousness. A state of oneness with all things in the universe.
My intention is to create a space where your nervous system can settle, your body can soften, and you can reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel steady and whole. These practices are here to support your wellbeing in a gentle, grounded way.
Yoga & Meditation Classes
I began my yoga journey in 2006, did my yoga teacher training in India in 2018, and am committed to lifelong learning. Yoga is about much more than asanas - it is the union of mind and body, bringing together individual and universal consciousness.
My classes promote mindfulness both on and off the yoga mat, helping the sense of inner peace and stillness found in class to flow onwards through the rest of your day. I use a trauma informed teaching methodology to create a safe and supportive environment in the studio. My classes emphasise kindness to yourself, meeting your body exactly where it’s at, and embracing the union of mind and body through yoga.
I am also an iRest meditation teacher, which is a deeply restorative form of meditation, blending clinical psychology with Yoga Nidra to facilitate a felt sense of inner peace and deep relaxation.
Reiki energy healing
I am a Reiki Master, certified in the traditional Usui method of Reiki healing. I gently channel Reiki energy to help you reach a state of deep peace and relaxation, removing any energy blocks, and help restore a sense of balance and wellbeing, for your mind, body and spirit.
My Reiki sessions are trauma informed, honouring your intentions and supporting your unique journey. Together, we move towards balance, integration, and a deeper sense of wellbeing.
Somatic Dance
I am a somatic healing practitioner, and facilitate somatic dance women’s circles that honour the wisdom of the body and the power of feminine connection.
Somatic dance helps us reconnect with the body in order to regulate the nervous system, process stored emotion, and restore inner balance - through movement, breath and embodied awareness.
There is no choreography. No performance. No set moves. No right or wrong. Just intuitive movement, honouring the body’s rhythms and expressing from within.
Somatic dance women’s circles offer a safe and welcoming space to feel grounded, supported, and empowered in community with other women.
No dance experience is needed. Just a willingness to show up as you are.
Women’s Circles
I facilitate women’s circles aligned with the Full Moon and New Moon. These events are a safe and welcoming space to connect with other women in the community, form new friendships, and tune into the energy of the Moon.
Ahimsa and building a better world
My work is grounded in Ahimsa, a core foundation of the Yoga Sutras. Ahimsa means non-violence and causing no harm, either to yourself, to other sentient beings, or to the environment.
If we all embrace Ahimsa, together we can build a better world.
The words I live by are “be the change you want to see in the world”, and when I’m not on my yoga mat, you can find me absorbed in a book, practicing fire twirling, or managing a tree planting company.
