Emma's classes promote mindfulness both on and off the yoga mat, helping the sense of inner peace and stillness found in class to flow onwards through the rest of your day. Emma uses a trauma informed teaching methodology to create a safe and supportive environment in the studio. Her classes emphasise kindness to yourself, meeting your body exactly where it’s at, and embracing the union of mind and body.

Everyone is welcome to join these classes, whether you’re new to yoga, or a more seasoned yogi. No experience is needed, and variations are offered in each class, so you can find what feels best for you. Come as you are, and experience the holistic benefits of yoga for your mind, body and spirit.

10% of every online yoga class is donated to WIRES, helping support their incredible work rescuing and rehabilitating Australian wildlife.

Online Classes via Zoom

These classes are online via zoom. Live classes offer connection and accountability, alongside real-time feedback and personalised support. These are benefits that pre-recorded content simply cannot match.

You will receive the zoom link via email approximately 24 hours before the class, and this will be re-sent approximately 1 hour before the class.

The zoom meeting will open approximately 10 minutes before class. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to settle in and connect with the community before class. During the class, please ensure your microphone is on mute.

You can choose to have your camera either on or off, whichever you prefer. If you would prefer verbal adjustments, please ensure your camera is on, and your mat is centred in the screen.

If you would prefer to see demonstrations on full screen, you can select ‘Active Speaker View’.

If it feels helpful, you may wish to have a few optional props nearby, such as:

  • yoga blocks (books can make good improvised blocks)

  • a yoga strap (a belt, sarong or hand towel are alternatives)

  • a pillow and blanket (to get extra cosy in Savasana at the end of class)

These are completely optional and not required. They are purely up to personal preference.

A class replay will be sent via email after the class, and will be available for 48 hours. If life gets in the way and you can’t attend live, or if you’d like to re-do the class the next day, you’re welcome to watch the replay.

Hatha Flow

Tuesdays 6:30pm – 7:30pm

 

Hatha Flow is an all-levels yoga class with a Hatha-inspired flow. These classes combine movement and mindfulness in an active flowing sequence, with space to pause, check in and reconnect with your body.

Hatha Flow is more dynamic than classic Hatha or Yin, yet not as fast as Vinyasa or Ashtanga. A gentle balance in between, with mindful pacing, breath awareness, and intentional transitions.

Grounded in the philosophy of traditional Hatha yoga, these classes balance the energies of Sun (Ha) and Moon (Tha), to reach a balance between energising and grounding, strength and softness, clarity and calm.  

These classes enhance balance, strength and flexibility. Each class begins with some Pranayama (yogic breathwork), and has a theme inspired by yoga philosophy.

Whether you're new to yoga or a more seasoned yogi, these classes cater to all levels, with variations and modifications available so you can tailor your practice to what feels right for you. I invite you to meet your body exactly where it’s at, and find the variation that feels best for you, each time you join me on the mat.

Yoga Basics is perfect for beginners, or those returning to their practice after a long time. In these classes you’ll learn the foundations of yoga, including philosophy, a range of different asanas, breathing techniques and meditation practices.

Learn beginner-friendly poses that will not only improve your flexibility, strength and balance, but will also support your holistic wellbeing. Dive deep into yogic philosophy and explore the 8 limbs of yoga, learning how yoga encompasses so much more than the physical asana we do on the mat. Learn breathing techniques that you can apply in your daily life to help with stress relief, while also experiencing the benefits of mindfulness and meditation.

Yoga Basics is offered as a 6 week course, and is also open to flexible drop-in bookings.

Enroling in the course allows you to get the most out of these classes, as we focus on different aspects of yoga each week. If you cannot attend all 6 weeks of the course, you can arrange make-up classes at another date.

Meditation
